About Me

From Fix-It Kid to Funnel Expert

I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a copywriter. I grew up figuring out how to fix things before they broke.

At 14, I ran away with the carnival—literally.

Most kids were focused on homework. I was learning how to wire up tilt-a-whirls and troubleshoot control panels under the lights of a traveling show.

By the time I hit my 20s, I was working for one of the largest amusement ride manufacturers in the country.

They flew me across the U.S. to fix broken rides, troubleshoot safety systems, and calm down million-dollar clients who were losing money by the minute.

I got good—really good—at diagnosing problems.
Fast. Under pressure. With consequences on the line.

But here’s the thing…

The better I got, the more burned out I became.

One morning, I woke up in another hotel room and couldn’t even remember what city I was in. I had money. I had respect.

But I didn’t have control.
That’s when I walked away.
In 2003, I left my dream job and started from scratch online.

No list. No following.

Just a fire in my gut and a belief that there had to be a smarter way to earn a living—on my terms.
I taught myself copywriting. Learned funnel strategy. Studied buyer psychology.

And I applied it all the same way I did back in the field:

→ Find the breakdown.
→ Diagnose the root cause.
→ Apply the exact fix.
→ Test until it runs like clockwork.

Over the last two decades, I’ve written for A-listers, engineered multi-step campaigns, and generated millions in sales for my clients and myself.

I don’t talk about “marketing theory.”

I do what works.
I build systems that convert.
And I teach others how to do the same.

That’s the short version of how a carnival kid became a conversion strategist.

And why, when it comes to fixing what’s broken in your funnel—I’m the guy you call.
